We’re all looking for something new in our lives, especially when it comes to hairstyles. The old cuts and colors may seem boring and blasé. When the new year comes along and the new stuff “comes out” (so to speak), it leaves us saying, “out with the old and in with the new!”
Granted, not every style is ideal. It’s like makeup. Sometimes makeup trends are absolutely ridiculous. Recently, we’ve seen feather eyebrows, wiggly lipstick and eyebrows, and strange lipstick with glitter plastered to your lips. No one can realistically wear something like that, right?
As we move through the year, we’ve really been able to look back and think of each trend that blew up on social media and in the real world. We look back on our pictures and cuts and think, “oh, no. What was I thinking?” Same. We’ve all felt that way once or twice in our lives.
It can be hard knowing what to ditch when there’s no one to point out that it looks like a stylist got a little too liberal with their creativity. We’re here to help out.
