Mole Removal Aftercare: What You Need to Know

After laser mole removal (usually 2-3 days), the mole will start to scab. You need not be impatient but take care of the skin properly so that the skin does not show signs of darkening and leaving scars. Here below Hairstylishes would like to share their skincare experience after laser mole removal.

Step 1: Clean your wound twice a day with diluted hydrogen peroxide solution or antibacterial water.

Step 2: Apply an antibiotic ointment to the mole after cleaning. Then cover the mole with a sterile bandage.

Step 3: Take painkillers if necessary.

Step 4: Absolutely avoid scratching or rubbing your wound while waiting for the mole to heal. As the wounds heal, they may experience an irritating itch. Apply moisturizer to the area to relieve itching.

Step 5: You can immediately return to normal activities right after the mole removal procedure on the body.

Step 6: After removing the mole, you should try to abstain from certain foods such as beef, water spinach, and sticky rice. In addition, you should avoid eggs or shrimp for about 3 months to avoid scarring.

Above is the skincare experience after laser mole removal. You are advised to choose for yourself a reliable mole removal method.
